In my next life - if reincarnation as a drummer doesn't work out - a more practical re-emergence as a logistics/tour planner might be my fate. Interesting to research/coordinate dates and places, and connect (and reconnect and reconnect) with venues and house concert hosts. Call me wide-eyed, but I find some comfort and solidarity in knowing that there are people all over this country (and around the world) who believe in the value of showcasing emerging artists. Sometimes that belief comes with significant financial risk but it's almost always rooted in a passion for uncanned music. Thanks to all of you who've opened your lovely bar, café or home to me. Hope to hear from more of you in the weeks to come.
