JOHNNY CASH AND OLD CEDAR

Writing for the new record has its healthy share of second guessing and over-editing (over-thinking!) at the early stages. "Fire the editor," says my poet friend John Terpstra. Advice I take to heart.

Good timing to have finished reading Robert Hilburn's excellent biography on Johnny Cash. Impressed me how songs were Cash's lifeblood, enabling him to stay the course through accolades and misery.

Week 2 of the Indiegogo campaign. Less than a month to go. Here's to hoping.  Please follow the link and consider a contribution. Thanks!

Also...working with wood (300 yr old cedar) has been an energizing distraction from the other creative work...

Cheers,
